Frequently Asked Questions

Our team is committed to creating value for its investors and stakeholders through developing Best-in-Class Renewable Energy projects. Aided by the experienced technical team and its worldwide experience in various emerging markets.

A solar energy system consists of solar panels, inverter and electrical wiring. From sunrise to sunset, solar panels made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. Inverters convert the DC electricity into the alternating current (AC) electricity which is then transferred to your main electrical service panel for use.

Sunlight consists of direct sunlight (direct radiation) and diffused sunlight (diffused radiation). During cloud cover, diffused radiation falls on your solar modules producing electricity lesser than the daily expected generation.

Generally, the system is installed on the roof where it receives direct sunlight. Solar panels can be fitted on all types of roof, flat, pitched or curved, on the majority of buildings. Ideally a roof will be south, south east or south west facing. If trees or buildings create shadow the effectiveness of the system may be reduced. This can all be assessed at a site visit.

Space requirements range from 100 to 120 sq feet per kW of solar PV installed depending whether it’s a rooftop or ground mounted and the tilt angle of the solar PV modules.

The surplus electricity would either be sold back to the grid and accounted for using the net metering policy or will be stored in the form of batteries and used later by the same load center. Commercial analysis is done to weigh the different options under consideration.

A thorough structural analysis is done by our team to determine if your roof’s load bearing capacity is sufficient to take the load of the solar PV modules. Concrete roofs have no problems at all in handling the distributed load nature of solar PV modules, however roofs have to be analyzed first before they are used for installation.

Our systems are designed to have a useful life of 25 years or more.

This usually takes couple of days, depending on your requirements. Weather conditions can affect installation times, as some work takes place outside your home.

Your system will be fully tested before we leave and handed over to you.

Please feel free to contact us at any time to discuss your concerns. We are always happy to deal with any inquiry and most questions can be dealt with quickly for you by our specialist team. In case of any faults, we will address it within 24 hours of the lodging of the complaint.
