High quality manufacturers create a barcode on the back<\/div>\n<div>(or front) that is used for the purpose of warranty, repair and tracking. However, if<\/div>\n<div>you have doubts, you can use a bit of alcohol along with a damp cloth to erase the<\/div>\n<div>barcode. If the barcode gets damaged or changed, then the panel isfake. This is an<\/div>\n<div>indication that manufacturers are trying to scam their consumers.<\/div>\n<div>In addition to this, if a company claims that they are associated with the clean<\/div>\n<div>energy council, then this is a scam. The clean energy council does not work with<\/div>\n<div>solar panels and have never in the past sold solar panels to any of their customers.<\/div>\n<div>Hence, if you get a solar offer from a company like this, it is best that you turn it<\/div>\n<div>down immediately.<\/div>\n<div>Another best way to see whether solar panels are fake or not, is to research about<\/div>\n<div>the company.
