Wahab is a co-founder at Solcraft, having 5+ years of blended professional experience in Business Development, Engineering Operations and Project Management. Prior to this, he has held key positions at Engro and has been engaged in pioneering projects for his former company in the power sector. He has led the engineering teams responsible for the development of more than 1.5 GW of power plants across Pakistan, based on Solar, Wind, Hydel and Thermal technologies. In his previous roles, he has directly managed engineering teams of world-renowned consultants while his experiences also include liaising with government agencies for approval of project feasibilities and technical documents at various stages.

It was during his time working for Independent Power Projects (IPPs) when Wahab realized an upcoming paradigm shift in Pakistan’s Power market, where traditional supply of energy would not remain the most efficient. This passion to contribute to the industry gave rise to the idea of Solcraft.

Wahab graduated from NED University with a degree in Process Engineering.
